Pay if you feel more comfortable doing so. If one does pay don't make it obvious as it might spoil the mood or fun or even the special relationship. Gifts on special dates are a must.

I also fear of being 撞破 as well
but my 慾望 conquered my fear on several occasions ...

another difficulty is the fear of the BG becoming too serious about the relationship and 黐身
if she's actually on my $$$, so much the better
but if she's not, it could become a complicated matter beyond my control

Let her know your position, if you felt uncomfortable about the situation, let her know, if the situation persist, cutoff time, there is no other way out.
