想買SLRCanon机,400D或450D(未出可能三月底出), 但鏡頭想買Canon EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM 或 EF 24-70mm  f2.8L  USM            和一枝SIGMA 70-200mm. 因不想買太多枝鏡. 請教各位意見.多謝!

小弟首先將你要想的相機以及鏡頭大約價錢列出來，


400D body 大約 $4000
450D boby (暫時沒有價錢)

EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM 大約 $7500
EF 24-70mm  f2.8L  USM 大約 $9500
SIGMA 70-200mm 大約 $6500


我建議選擇淨係買相機 body，
普遍來說 450D 比起 400D 進步很多，
所以強力建議一定要選擇 450D，
不知道你會不會用直倒？
有需要的話 BG-E3 大約 $1000。

不清楚你的 budget 多少，
17-55 or 24-70 各有各好，
等待進一步瞭解你有幾多 budget 以及想影什麼，
我們再討論。

Please remember when you choose 400D/450D, your corp factor will be (1.6).  That means you are going to get:
17-55mm will become 27-88mm
24-70mm will yield 38-112mm
70-200mm will become 112-320mm

Do consider if that is still the range you will need as focal length is being the concerns.  However, you might find it difficult to start with a min of 27mm if you are looking for lens choices that can provide you with wide to tele selections.  (personally I think 16mm is more ideal and that is why Canon has EFS 10-22mm)

Another thing you need to take into consideration...EF-S lens doesn't suit for Canon's camera that uses full frame CMOS sensor, which means they will not fit well with 5D or EOS I Mark III Ds.

Hi! Simone, Are you saying that beside getting lens 24-70mm and 70-200mm, I need to have an extra len Canon EFS 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 USM or a bit cheaper Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 DC HSM to get wider angle shoot.

其實選擇 Canon 最大好處鏡頭有平有貴，
選擇性又多，
至於價錢豐儉由人。

若果照你以上的要求，
應該是第一次踏足單鏡反光相機世界，
所以選擇 450D 這個入門版，
( 40D boby 不單止大部，而且價錢差不多要 $8000 )

根據以上資料，
我會建議你選擇 17-55 作為你一般隨意景物，
而且這個鏡頭有一個優點就係加入防手震 (IS)，
對於你這種新手來說非常有用，
在質素上絕對不錯，
( 當然需要嚴格高的要求就要選擇 24-70 L )
以及這個鏡頭重量也比起 24-70 輕得多，
( 17-55 : 645g / 24-70 : 950g )

Sigma 70-200 作為你機雀鳥，
我們看看總共要多少：
450D = $ 5800
Battery Grip + $1000
17-55 = $7500
70-200 = $6500

共要大約 $20,800 (以上只係參考價值)

還有一些要注意：

1/ 兩個鏡頭有需要買 filters 作為保護，
一般價錢大約 $75 一個

2/ 將來有機會要考慮買閃光燈，
430EX 會比較適合 450D
價錢大約 $2000

3/ 還有考慮腳架、保護袋、防潮箱....等等雜類

你以上這個價錢並沒有包括這些附件，
所以你可以說攝影這玩意是一個無底深潭，
投資的金錢越來越多。

照你以上鏡頭列出來，
我只會選擇 70-200 f4L IS ( 小小白 IS )
質素高兼且有防手震功能，
可以說差不多拍得住 70-200 f/2.8 L  ( 小白 )
若果手頭上鬆動的話，
這個鏡頭絕對最好！

70-200 f4L  ( 小小白 ) 一定好過 Simga 70-200
既然選擇 Canon 質素最高的鏡頭，
價錢也貴到飛起，
絕對不能用「底用」來描述，
但是絕對「好實際」。

This one is kind of like the semi-official-Canon forum.

From what I have read, the Canon 17-55 f/2.8 IS is "almost" the best lens for crop body.  This comment is from ppl who have used Canon 24-70 f/2.8L, Canon 24-105 f/4L IS and other third party lenses.  Look into their comments than you will see why.  It is kind of pricey but it produces L-like Image quality.  Also, Canon 70-200 f/4 IS is a little bit sharper than 2.8 IS and even 2.8. with best 4-stop IS system from Canon.

For walk around lens, Tamron 17-50 is also a very good and well accepted thrid party lens.  For wide angle, ppl frequently bring up Canon 10-22 and Sigma 10-20.  I got the Sigma because it is a little bit cheaper.  But if you can affort it, get the Canon.

Personally I would recommend you to get a 40D (It has a much better body then 450D) +  Canon 24-70mm 2.8 L...in considering your quoted budget.  

You will have better advantage to take shots for animal in actions with a len that allows you to use larger aperture.

And remember, it is quite difficult for you to shoot 雀鳥 without a suitable tripod...but then you will have to carry alot of stuffs than you would have preferred.

If possible, do go to shop that allows you to try on lens before you decide what your purchases are gonna be.

Hi,

How much is the going price for 40D in HK?  The MSRP for 450D is about USD$899 and the selling price for 40D is about USD$1200, so the diff is about $300.  I bought the 40D a month ago, and I think it is a nice body for the price.  The Canon XXXD series has noticiablely more noise above ISO400, and the new 12mp may make it worse.  If you are going after picture quality, I am pretty sure the 30D will beat the 450D, and they are about the same price????  Will see.
