antipasto - $76 - mixed italian meats on a bed of simple salad, with a side of pesto dipping sauce. meat is very well cut, mixes well with the grilled peppers and cherry tomatos. overall the only complaint being serving size is way too small for $76, in comparison to the pizza and pasta. if it was around $55 i think it's worth it.
sloppy giuseppe pizza - $110 - spiced beef, green pepper, onion pizza. spice level fairly low, could've had a little more minced beef, but it's quite good overall. a little on the dry end if you're used to the pizza hut pizzas.
cannelloni - $98 - pretty generic cannelloni, could've used a little more spinach, overall quite good, but nothing to brag about. i suggest ordering other pastas if you want something tasty. the huge amounts of ricotta cheese might be too filling for most HK people stomachs.
sun dried tomato in olive oil - it's not on the take out menu, so i forgot the price. i think around $28? the tomatos are quite good, and the remaining oil, i used for drenching the pizzas remember the dryness of the sloppy giuseppe. however, i don't recommend this to most people as i like my italian food quite oily, and a bit more salty than most people can handle.
chicken caesar - $98(medium size) - wish they added a bit more chicken, but it came pre-tossed, so i was pleasantly surprised. and the extra dough balls went very well with the sun dried tomatos
pizza 1 - quattro formaggi - $105 - amazingly delicious 4 cheese pizza. this was cleared out in less than 1 minute (6 slices only for all their pizzas, it's quite small, but somehow it's quite filling). this is a must have if you are a pizza lover
pizza 2 - four seasons - $112 - the pepperoni they used is a little on the salty side, along with capers, olives and anchovies, it's quite a salty pizza overall... not to mention i also drenched the entire pizza with the tomato-olive oil from the appetizer... and i also ordered a side of prosciutto to go with the pizza. LOL. however, it's still quite good, and the several salty things goes together quite well... this is not a pizza for beginners ^_^"
penne al Salmone - $108 - much lighter in flavour, which is good considering all the saltiness from the pizzas. excellent basic penne with a good small quantity of smoked salmon on top, and they actually found some dill to sprinkle on the dish, so i was again pleasantly surprised at the detail they put into their dishes. it's hard enough to find restaurants in HK that understands the importance of herbs, especially in something as "insignificant" as a pasta dish. but they did well, and i'm liking it. ^_^
i would like to recommend this place to anyone who loves eating good pizza, and especially challenge those who think california pizza kitchen to be the top that HK has to offer for good, medium priced, pizza. this place blows CPK out the window. i've yet to try the desserts, however, i'm not too fond of heavy italian desserts and the torta di Pere seemed too thick and hard for me. however, they do serve it with mascarpone cheese(the cheese used in real "tirami-su"), so i might give it a try next time i'm there.
