hard to tell u actually, event us, having wine for many years, need to compare the price of different shops.
In general, WatXXn's has many new world but price is quit high. Some price after discount is good.  RaXe and FiXe wine has good collection but they only offer extra discount for friends.  I personally don't like PXntx, don't ask me why.

How about Hong Kong Wine Club?  I see they are doing a promotion on Penfolds 389 (2004) @ HK$360.  I want to try this one as it is highly recommended in many forums (including here), but 6 bottles (for fee delivery) may be too many for trial.  I also find it in Wellcome Website which only offers HK$329, but the vintage is not indicated.

Checked from 360 yesterday.  The vintage is 2005.  Worthwhile?

Also, buy wine more than $500 there now can have 10% discount!

Price in 360 is quite high that u should check the price from diff outlets. or check it with
www.wine-researcher.com

the special friend price......very subjective and depends on how close u are with the sales...

U can try other forum abt "group purchase".

There are advantage for group purchase:
1) If the price is not reasonable, the red wine fans will strongly complaint.
2) The selected wines are only good or "hot" wines. So u won't get any unknown wine.

I am having the below 神水之滴 (volumn 14) Chateau NINEN 2002. Retail price at HK$600-HK$900 (airport duty free). If drink in hotel / bar, at least HK$1800+. But group purchase price is around HK$370.
