you are not removing any application but disabling them all. Then enable the application one by one until you pin point which one caused the problem.

you need to turn off windows restore before attempt the removal of potential problem, as it is in the restore directory.

This INF could be extracted from one of your startup application. It means that Norton Anti-virus only removes the result of the virus, but it is unable to find the root of the virus. The INF will show up again after you have restarted the machine.
