八式頭盤:  醉雞、薰魚、素鵝、香椿豆腐、芹菜蝦干、糖醋茄子、酸甜小黃瓜、烤麩
主菜: 毛豆年糕炒大花蟹或海虾, 碧綠金菇卷, 松子海斑魚, 蘿蔔排骨湯, 蒜香法國豆, 紅燒元蹄, 煲仔菜飯
甜品: 桂花酒粮丸子

各位前輩, 以上菜單可以配咩酒?

My 2 cents:  I would bring a dry Riesling white (e.g. from Alsace), and a Bordeaux red.

in general, i'd recommend:

頭盤:
German Riesling Spatlese (因高酸度同微甜可配合糖醋茄子、酸甜小黃瓜)
Bordeaux white (草青及鮮果配芹菜蝦干)
Beaujolais (light red for 薰魚、素鵝、烤麩)

主菜:
NZ Sauvignon Blanc (acidity and fruitiness for 碧綠金菇卷, 松子海斑魚, 蒜香法國豆)
Chablis 1er Cru (for 毛豆年糕炒大花蟹或海虾)
Bordeaux red (for 紅燒元蹄)

甜品:
Moscato d'Asti (花香拼桂花酒釀)

German Riesling Spatlese (因高酸度同微甜可配合糖醋茄子、酸甜小黃瓜)
>> if u can buy 2005 German Riesling, Kabinnet is still enough sweetness and acidity, such as JJ PrumBordeaux white (草青及鮮果配芹菜蝦干)--> good choice! also Lorie valley
Beaujolais (light red for )薰魚、素鵝、烤麩>> since the 薰魚、烤麩 are quite sweet, i think choose Moulin A Vent or St Amour also are good! How about Croze Hermitage?
主菜:
NZ Sauvignon Blanc (acidity and fruitiness for 碧綠金菇卷, 松子海斑魚, 蒜香法國豆) Champagne is also good ar!! I like to try Louis Roderer Premier or Vintage VCP.Chablis 1er Cru (for 毛豆年糕炒大花蟹或海虾) Perfect!
Bordeaux red (for 紅燒元蹄) Good la!! i like those big wine with it.

甜品:
Moscato d'Asti (花香拼桂花酒釀) What can i ask for more? all are my shallow experienced choice too

多謝三位前輩, 真的很詳盡呢~~ 的確, 我的問題也真的不夠仔細, 現再將範圍縮窄一點, 這個菜單供十三人食用, 飲酒的只是其中十人, 假設只能往超市, 例如百 x, 惠 x 及吉 x 島買酒, 每支售價在一百五十元以下, 又該如何選酒?

頭盤:
German Riesling Spatlese (因高酸度同微甜可配合糖醋茄子、酸甜小黃瓜)
>> then buy a German or Alsace Riesling, price should be under 150.
Bordeaux white (草青及鮮果配芹菜蝦干)--> still ok for basic Bordeaux white, price within budget
Beaujolais (light red for )薰魚、素鵝、烤麩>> Or Rose, there is a Bordeaux Rose in WelCxmx, u can check it. Of COurse Beaujolais is a good choice and must be about 100 only in Supermarket
主菜:
NZ Sauvignon Blanc (acidity and fruitiness for 碧綠金菇卷, 松子海斑魚, 蒜香法國豆) buy a bottle of Champagne in WelCxme la, Mumm is not expensive, about 250. Otherwise, buy a bottle of Alsace sparkling wine from Park'n, about 130 only.
.Chablis 1er Cru (for 毛豆年糕炒大花蟹或海虾) in supermarket, u can buy the Aust Chardonnay as an alternative.
Bordeaux red (for 紅燒元蹄) u still can find good Bordeaux red in ParkX shop within your budget such as Ch. D'Arcin or Ch. Sainte Colombe.
enjoy your wine dinner!! for 10 people, but 2 bottles for each wine should be more than enough.
甜品:
Moscato d'Asti (花香拼桂花酒釀) What can i ask for more? all are my shallow experienced choice too

酒數方面
除非十位飲者都極飲得
否則用75% rule, 即係人數 x 75%就足夠

Thank God Aussie $ tumbles a bit last night.  

OK, I am going to clean up their Wendouree.  Have to wait until tomorrow though, as Australia is like a ghost town today.  Only shops that open are some Chinese eateries and they are all full.

with 0% tax, we can try something different, I believe there are some less known winery that make good wines between A$50-A$100, they have good QPR and are rare in hk.

actually, best way for buying Aussie wine in terms of "investment" should follow the Langton's Classification, the top two tiers (Exceptional & Outstanding) are very good no matter for tasting or for cellaring and investing
rare wines like Giaconda, Cullen and some other emerging ones are nice for consideration
