Just back fm Bohol today. The transportation is easy, HKG->Manila->Bohol by air, then 1/2 hr by resort van pick-up at airport to resort.
I stayed at Amorita Resort at Alona Beach. The diving shop is just adjacent the resort.
The domestic airport tax:
Manila -> Bohol: PESO 200
Bohol-> Manila: PESO 20 (yes, much cheaper)
Int'l flight airport tax:
Manila -> HKG: PESO 750, or USD16. So, u can use either currency which u think it is cheaper.

Alona Beach Tourist centre. Exchange rate is not good as at Manila airport.
Barracuda dinner (full table at around HK$130). We had also a big jack fish on the another day. Also around HK$130 per dinner for 2 people.

The dinner at 香滿樓 (fish + crab + soup + rice + 2 cokes) costed around HK$220.
Sea urchin at local market (HK$10). Don't recomment as it is very salty although I washed with water for 3 times.
We went to the Balicasag Island. The diving sites are more interesting than the sites along the Alona Beach.
It took around 35min by boat fm Alona Beach to the Balicasag Island. The water is not very deep, just around 20M. Deeper than that, not many marine life.
There is one resort in the island which we can take our lunch as well as surface interval between dives. However, food is very simple.
We saw some diving boats fm Cebu nearby. The DM said the boat would take 4 hours fm Cebu to reach the area

However, we didn't see the group of Barracuda but only a turtle and a school of jack fish.
