etromax is the best-known High-Pressure Light in the world. Its name originates from Kommerzienrat(the highest civil honorary title in early 20th century Germany) Max Graetz who invented the lamp at the beginning of the 20th century. His friends used to call him “Petroleum Maxe” for which Petromax is the abbreviation. This name has been protected by patents since 5th November 1910. During the following years, the light proved to be incredibly popular. Millions of it were produced and distributed to all parts of the world.

Nowadays, people are still fascinated by this lamp which is handmade of more than 200 individual pieces. Fishing boats illuminate their catch with its impressive power of up to 100 watts and travellers tell their tales in its light.

This Lantern is one of the smallest pressure lanterns in the world. The lantern is about 29cm high, it produces 150CP/HK (1 watt = 1,25 CP candle power), means 100watt. With its 0,33 litre tank it runs about 4 hours.
這盞汽化燈是世界上少數小型汽化燈之一。 燈高大約 29 公分，產生 150 CP／HK﹝1瓦特白熾燈泡光度 大約等於 1,25 CP 燭光﹞，也就是約為 100瓦白熾燈的亮度。它的 0.33 公升油壺加滿後，大約可以點亮 4 小時。
