Recently uncorked the following German rieslings, here comes the TNs:
Zeltinger Sonnenuhr 06':
Pale yellow in color, reticent nose first, then emitting light petrol aroma, only light-medium bodied, not very sweet and balanced with zesty grapefruit-like acidity, hints of bitter almond, a nice drink. But, its dimension, sweetness and concentration suggest that it might merely attain spatlese level, IMO.
Graacher Himmelreich 03' Gold Cap:
Light golden, boytrytis nose, sweet but not cloying, if further higher in acidity, it could be more focused. Medium bodied, like drinking cream soda. Considering this a gold cap wine, I want something more so some disappointment. Low QPR.
