Meursault Les Charmes Philippe Chavy 2008

I like drinking white wine in hot season and I'm a follower of white Burgundy.
Of course the captioned wine producer is not so famous as Lafon , Giradin....
But the price of this 1er cru white is acceptable to me.

Very pale yellow in colour, wet stone nose. Wow, the first sip indicates the heavy
minerality, thus some saltiness could be tasted. Almond bitterness appears first but
backed up with razor-like acidity. After some time, saltiness and bitterness vanish and layered
minerality and vibrant acidity dominate the wine. A wine should be kept. Maybe not a crowd-
pleaser.
