Recently at
eBay a pair of used Stuart Weitzman Fever (black kid upper, size 9.5) was sold for around U$25 (original MSRP around U$390)
However, looking at the pictures in more detail, it's revealed that the footwear has been substantially used and in moderate condition...
Problems noted:
1. Very creased and scuffed vamp and sides. Also the original luster on kid leather surfaces has been largely "worn" out. When that happens, even re-waxing (or buffing) won't restore the original shine;
2. Very worn outsoles. The original "wooden-look" surface has been worn out, also shows light signs of cracking (NOT good for prolonged usage);
3. Heel stack has material coming off. Not sure what that is, but if the wrapped heel part is partially torn then that's a very bad idea, also reflects how original owner wore (and mistreated) her expensive footwear;
4. Slightly warped heel quarter.
Refer to attached pics and see for yourself...
Truth to be told, used good black kid Fevers are very hard to find, and even so, sizes are often too small (usually sizes 6.5-7.5 are being listed).
