我都覺得環保係好;但財政大臣未同意;朋友話返廠維修好似貴過街,
同埋油電車有一舊特別電池要2年返廠換; 是否真的; 多少 $  ?

上次呃 post呃過, 要問清楚電池賣多少錢, Li-ion電池最長壽命五年, 可能頂到八年. 呢度civic換一次就差唔多半架新車咁滯.

老實講 Li-ion battery係可以回廠再生. 車廠應該考慮平d同d車換至o岩.

你會唔會等d hybird 改用ultracapacitor 先至考慮呢?

Ultracapacitor 似乎好個 Li-ION.

Such energy storage has several advantages relative to batteries:
    * Very high rates of charge and discharge.
    * Little degradation over hundreds of thousands of cycles.
    * Good reversibility
    * Low toxicity of materials used.
    * High cycle efficiency (95% or more)

Disadvantages:
    * The amount of energy stored per unit weight is considerably lower than that of an electrochemical battery (3-5 W.h/kg for an ultracapacitor compared to 30-40 W.h/kg for a battery). It is also only about 1/10,000th the volumetric energy density of gasoline.
    * The voltage varies with the energy stored. To effectively store and recover energy requires sophisticated electronic control and switching equipment.
    * Has the highest dielectric absorption of all types of capacitors.

car price: estima $280K - 350K,(2.4 -3.5L)
estima hybrid $400K above (2.4 engine with hybrid)

oil consumption (from japan toyota homepage)
estima 9.4km-12.4km/litre=0.095 to 0.08litre oil use per km.
e. hybrid 20km/litre = 0.05 litre oil use per km.
ie; hybrid save 37% oil consumption.

now oil = $13/litre, save 37% = 13X 0.37= $4.81

Car price different is about $120K ie. you need to save oil consumption of (120000/4.81) litre to balance the extra money u have paid.

= 24950Litre oil. How far u can run for 24950 litre oil for e. hydrid?
=24950X20= 499000KM!!
assueing u will use the car for 6 year , 6X365.25 = 2191.5 days
499000/2191.5=227km/day (only commercial car can have such performance in 1 day)

this mean that if u need a long run per day like this, hybrid is suitable and more economic.
if u just run 20km/day to carry children to school, it just waste money to buy a hybrid.
To support environmental protection, most useful is to use pubblic transport rather than buy a car.
Once u choose to buy a car for carrying purpose, hybrid or not hybrid will not have big differnence for short trip everyday in view of environmental protection.

The above calculation shows most of the details.... however, one ultra important thing is missing which is the impact to the enviroment..... from the economy point of view.... hybrid car is not the best deal right now.... but to the enviroment or the earth.... it does help ....

但係要渣車既人, 停車息匙, 用少D冷氣.
都可能要教育十幾年.
