Also posted at Hotel link... but it may be more appropriate here.

I'm assuming that hotels will be all booked up for the 2008 Beijing Olympics for all the well known and close-by hotels.

Any ideas on hotel availability in further away areas, which is easily accessible by public transportation (e.g. less than 30 minutes)?

Any suggestions of 3 stars, 4 stars and 5 stars for the above criteria will be extremely helpful for those seeking hotel rooms during the Olympics timeframe.

Many thanks for any suggestions...

never be thinking of travelling to that area within 30min... 1 hour is minimum..

subway will be the best for travel... so you don't need to live near the campus, or else you will experience transportation problem even you are going out for other non-olympics activities...
