講真, 貴既就食唔起. 普通餐廳試過幾次, 一係就好似豬潤, 一係就似燒鵝味.

尋日去左崇光12/f, 有間餐廳, 係呢排係電視成日同蔡蘭做節目個個叫 jacky 既靚仔開既. 其他菜講真就普普通通, 但係個頭盤鵝肝就真係正. 外面少少濃, 中心化, 一啖咬落去成嘴油, 好香. 頭盤散叫 98, 跟餐就68. 扺食.

Not bad. For the price of $250, I can say it worth the $$. The food is better than I expected.
Especially for the dessert, you have a selection of cakes...my favourite!
I chose the chocolate 軟心蛋糕, very tasty.

唔好意思, 我一唔貼呢張相係因為個foie gras實在太吸引, 我唔覺意食左一半先知唔記得映相.

我仲有張半塊既相, 映得唔係好好, 既然你開到口, 就貼啦...

Ces't Bon 我4月食過, 覺得好一般, 不過$250= 9 個courses 又ok gei.

如果講到好食又$ ok的, 可以去上環的 bouneur. 由鵝肝, main course 至甜品都好good. dinner set: $330.

近排睇雜誌都有介紹呢間既foie gras, 見到張相都好想食...

I went to Marinetime Square @ Tsing Yi last time, not kowloon bay...

I also tried the caesar salad, very fresh. The cheese and bacon were wonderful....The dish was big!

About 18 months while enjoying my dish of foie gras at Riva at Parklane Hotel, I was told that the dish would be off the menu the week after.  Reason - import of foie gras from France had been banned and from that point on, only import was from China.

Well, I don't know if the ban has been lifted.  Chances are, you guys have been enjoying the product from PRC.

About 1 ...
most foie gras in HK now are imported from China...  

actually, in china, there are several places that i eat foie gras because i know they import their foie gras from Denmark. (because i know the owners and i've been in their kitchens)

however, i must say, the new sturgeon(鱘龍) farms in china are doing quite well, and so far, the quality have been kept.  so if anyone see sturgeon in the menu in another 5-6 months or so, it's worth a try.  same with cheaper china-made caviar from the same fish.  probably not as good as beluga, but at least it's decent caviar.

I find the quality very good. If from China, certainly cannot tell.

But those at Steak Expert, Rhine Garden etc. are definitely from China. You can tell from the size and taste.

Deep sea sturgeon(鱘龍) in China are government  propected,(you are not allow to eat them  ).

I have eaten several times (  They say the (鱘龍) is from Russia..........  may be privately bred ), they are very good.
The meat , even the soft bone are very tasty.

anyone try those raw foie gras at the basement of SOGO ? they are selling at $110/100g. i asked them to weight a piece the size of my hand and it only costs $100. i guess they are very light weight. anyone know how to cook them? just fry with butter? any seasoning needed?

Just like I eat seafood, I will go to Sai Kung. The place called 布袋澳, need drive a long way to go there. I brought friend and family there, they all said good!

With  the  hint  here, I ordered Crab meal & pesto soup rather than the lobster soup…….good
The    foie gras       is what I expected  ………………. Good………………. But a bigger portion will be better.      !!!!   
I ordered a glass of Paul Cabernet Sauviguon  2006 from Chile    ……… Not bad.  
The Lamb is delicious ….very tender….nicely done.
To conclude :  good recommendation……...  But ……..For my next visit I shall order…   “ TWO    9 Courses for me  please.”  ………………{.. I can have two portions of  Set Dinner without any difficulty.  }………………a joke  ……….

The foie gras was huge the last 3 times I went. All were at Kowloon Bay store.

I like the lamb too! Very good taste, soft and juicy..yummy!

The foie gras is not small...dont be greedy! You need to watch your cholesterol level~

It was $248+30+27.8=306     excluding extra gratitude.   

The wine is $30 with set dinner  .    Normally  $35   

The soup is actually crab meat + tomato +.......

Thanks for the tip  ...... going for the Lamb..........Very tasty.......

I always try to ..............  managing my quota  such that more  rooms for my ""favourite"" and lless for the ""common ""

I did not go in, But I saw a poster, selling Austrain beef for    ~~  $150.

The resturant  is smaller than CB..

I think the crab meat + tomato soup is much better than my lobster one. And i also believe this is the best lamb i ever had. Just like the steak from Entrecote. With slight carbon taste...

They offer another set cost under $300. I dont remember how many courses, including foie gras~ If you sure you can eat more, order this set and you can try different dishes...

My favourite is roast pig, and dessert...............yummy!!

今晚又去左cest bon, 叫左:

1. mushroom cream soup w/ black truffle
2. chef recommendation: 鴨胸 + foie gras

The soup was rich, but too many bubbles on it. Not quite good looking...but the taste was good and creamy.

The foie gras was overcooked...so disappointed. The surface was burnt, crispy but taste sour. I should have complaint....
