Agreed with you, 24000 will reach pretty soon when most people do not believe it.
I think 25000 or + will reach by the end of this year.

Yes, I agreed so, I have been cashing out 50% of my profolio when HSI reached 23500 time. Feel much comfort now when taking out half of my profit. And will reduce another 30% if it reached over 23500 anytime soon

agreed,,,

I'm holding >40% cash now and looking for more opportunity to reduce position around 23500 for 70% cash,,,

HSI upward looking for 25000 but downward for 21500 (or even lower), it is definitely not worthwhile to hold too many stocks for sure,,,

Good strategy! Now, PUT are totally dead.

Yes, I did, and also sold many call warrant this morning, and will sell more this afternoon; reduce another 30% holding today.

I did and lost - but "small flag" on HSI index. Well, win some lose some! I am waiting to PUT again.

The index is a bit high now. Once some NEW bad news (strong JPY, more sub-prime issue, lower metal prices) come out, excuse for market to fall again!

up and down, up and down troppy market

usually i will speculate buy while the market panic like this Wednesday, I was 80% full load. When the market bullish (next Monday morning, i will unload some tiny shares e.g. #235. 560. 257. 123 . 384. ......

holding the heavy weighted shares, eg #2318. 939, 2628. 1800 ) so far so good this month, got back what i lost in Aug 17 .

I sold my another 30% stocks in my profolio and I am only holding 20% now.
Feeling much much better, not much pressure now.

Since the market can go up, but not much I think. It is not worth to gamble another 300~500 pts upside maybe, but over 1000 pts at least at downside.

Agreed with you, still have a chance for upside, but not much space. If going down, it could be fast and deep again

Exactly, always win and lose in the market as usual. As long as make big and lose less, it is fine.
I think the market is bit high too.
But I suggest not easily to make put unless big drop in one day, and seem continous, then can make put, it is more saftey.

In short run, HSI will have a big correction when it reached 25000~25500.
Be careful.

Everybody has different point and theory.
I am still holding 1.5 M stock on hand, and spending 100K for HSI put, and doing some indidual call warrant for day trade as well. Why not. Still making good money, but not as much as than before. It is my own straegty, maybe somebody agree and some don't.

80% of my profit already cashed out in my pocket

Put warrant only lost 20K today, but my call warrant of 2628 made almost 500K plus 2628 stocks and other stocks. Totally made over 700K today

Thanks for your comment.

Money in your pocket is 100% yours, people have their own thinking and believe, not everyone agrees with you, but that is okay.
As long as you can make money, no matter buying up or down.

I still think the market can go up in long run, but I don't really agree for short run.
Therefore, I only hold some quality stocks on hand, and do some day trading and week trading this week since the market should be up in this week.

Spending small amount of money for HSI put, I don't see any problem at all, and the expiry date is end of Jan, 2008, a lot of time, if HSI keep going up everyday till next Jan, I could be ten of millionaire and I don't really care about HSI put.

Over all, if the market keep going up, I still make a lot of money from it, and only loss little for fortune(insurance), why not.
