heard that there was a mess in the first week.

has to line up for several hours to check in.

not enough food outlets.

has to queue up for taxi.

I went there last Friday and stayed for Sat and Sun. Checked in within 10 minutes. Checked out within 5 minutes. Room is very nice.

出門口等幾分鐘的士就全澳門都有野食啦, 3000個房間+n咁多walk-in遊客點可能夠地方食野? 威內既藍天白雲food court d野食點睇都只係一般food court. 連間雪糕店都冇吸引力. 有少少吸引反而係地面西廊(gambling中心向exhibition hall方向行幾步)就有間好似係食雲吞麵既店.

從另一個角度去睇呢件事，威尼斯人本身反而對開幕造成既混亂而高興喎，係唔肯認衰定係有心造勢呢？

嘉菲覺得澳門而家既交通情況投資者點會唔知呢？如果係為造勢既話佢又真係幾成功喎，起碼有 noise 丫.......大家不如向呢方面討論下囉！

正面一ｄ去討論先會得到大家想要既答案?!!

其實有好多食肆尚未開業,部份要到11月中才開張,總計有30多間食店,但多數係高檔次既例如釆蝶軒,阿一鮑魚,Morton of chigago.........等等.好快氹仔碼頭可以啟用,交通會方便好多.

路氹城一帶將會係威尼斯人 (計劃中有十三期)，夢幻之城(COD)四間酒店，星際 Mega galaxy，同埋計劃緊既 Virgin 酒店！

原來上次見到以為係雪糕店, 原來係fatburger.... 都好, 因為其他見到都唔想食, 今日去買air supply既門票見到有間叫乜monkey, 叫咗takeout, 依家食緊. 仲有板前(銅鑼灣世貿對面third rate sushi shop)就開....
有間江戶幾多人. hotel check-in/out 見到幾正常. 今日人唔算多, 仲有等緊食物時店門口(其中一條運河既頭)有班著costume既opera人, 有個鬼妹唱aria唔錯. 但後來一聽到"that's amore"就走人...

otherwise, 身為成年人, 地方真係好好行.  air con系統做得非常好(溫度, 空氣流通, ...).  燈光暗得來都唔錯(d街燈既光線同店舖既balance), 但係上述間"monkey"對面咪有opera既... 旁邊間好似係folli follie(鞋店)既燈光過份強, 比起呢個square內所有店都強. 有點暄賓奪主既感覺, 對正鞋店睇班鬼佬唱係只可以睇到幾個人影.

希望"威"可以帶動澳門非賭博生意.  "廣東大馬路"至"騎師餐廳"一帶既餐飲業, 時開時關, d廚房仔依家大x哂, 食品既水準就一日差過一日.  仲唔開放外勞..... 定係老何以為 0%失業好威風, 有獎攞?

Mox 兄係澳門人??

威尼斯人其實到今日都仲有好多問題，只不過一個咁大既 resort + 展覽場地可以見到而家既場面已經幾難得，勞工限制之下要想快真係唔容易！第一期到目前為止只係差大約三份一既商場同賭場未完成，雖然 target 緊十一月可以完工，但係其實未完工既商店有好多要深夜趕工，實在唔多樂觀喇！不過如果將整個威尼斯人去睇，黎緊隔離就係第二同第三期已經不停趕工，到時相信會再有其他設計比小朋友.....?

今日都有行經賭場，但係就發現近 Morton 既一面空氣比較差，雖然當時只係得幾部老虎機有生意！今日真係要反映下比佢地聽

至於氹仔一帶既食肆相信就算威尼斯人可以帶旺整個澳門都未必可以即時改變，有做飯店生意既朋友同嘉菲訴苦，而家要請人實在好困難，如果有伙計過擋去賭場做，就算食物再出色都要休息~~希望只係汰弱留強啦!!?

一個小城市要突然適應咁大同咁快既發展，的確唔係容易

係住澳門, 因為多方面比較鍾意澳門, 同埋我工作係無"上班"之言, 住邊都得. 澳門近香港, 有香港既好(自由貿易, 地道澳門人既好客精神, 物價低), 冇香港既壞(車/人太多, mk文化, 忘自己能力既高傲).

係呀, 我呢邊兩間唔錯既燒味店就係咁, 開幾日又無拉拉關幾日, 以為佢唔做, 第二日又開番.  成都街幾間歐洲菜, 泰國菜都有可能短時間內會關門大吉...

其實"威"仲有一個問題, d國際表演confirm可以賣飛到正式開場嗰日中間時間唔夠.  最少應該有2個月既時間, NBA d訂飛真係有d亂.  (價錢我都覺得有d太平, $980冇可能係最高...又唔係睇d港星唱歌, 10幾人既比賽應該有vip box seats, 唔過萬開個4-6人包廂我一定會去, 如果有人覺得貴, 大不了送兩支地道vinha de porto, 加d平平地既hor d'oeurves就ok啦.  保證大把香港馬會後生一班一定搶住要)

係喎, 點解唔見有雪茄妹行賭場既?  vegas既特色呀...  ^_^

I checked in on Sunday (16/9) and order was good, only that someone opened my room door (he didn't knock) and said he wanted to check the minibar! There's no 'Do Not Disturb' signage or light available, so remember to lock your door when you are in the room.
Anyway, I'll be going again for a 2-night stay from Saturday to Monday this weekend, let's see what'll happen.

收據可能係同繳稅有關先用繁體中文, 因為澳門政府係用繁體中文&葡文...
但威記係針對中國既大眾市場... premium 以至 road sign etc用全簡體亦係為體貼佢既客人而定既...

I checked in again on 22/9 Saturday and came back 24/9 Monday night. Last time I checked in at 12:30pm and it took around 20mins. The queue was not too long. This time I checked in even earlier, at 11:45am, and took mcuh the same time, around 15 mins. Order was good.
'Privacy' signages are available for hanging on the door knobs this time. I think these signages weren't ready yet last week. I am sure it wasn't missed in my room since none of these signages were found hanging on the door knobs. Anyway, it's an improvement.

I had the Gondola ride this time at $120 per head. Photo taking costs$190, quite expensive, but u can take your photos with your own cameras at no charge.

For both times I took the shuttle from the ferry pier to the hotel. The queue was very long on Saturday, but there are many buses and it didn't take long. Very impressive that they are able to handle such a big crowd. Taking a taxi at the hotel is a nightmare however. When I went for dinner Sunday night, I needed to go back to the shuttle station and took a shuttle to the airport and then transferred to a taxi there. The queue at the taxi stand was terrible.

有個方法比大家容易ｄo係威尼斯人搵的士，就係由 bus station 出口行去大街入口，的士都係由果度轉入威尼斯人酒店，o係街口有好多 staff 落車!!

That's the West entrance. A good suggestion, but sometimes that depends on your luck. If you're going back to the hotel, you also should ask the taxi driver to let you get off here. If you go to the main entrance, it costs $15 more because of a much longer distance!

其實只要你上車時同司機講去"舊6A"，司機一定知道位置，反而"West Entrance" 司機未必知道??

yes, the official check-in time is 3pm, but they usually let u have the key if u check-in early, they don't want to have everybody crowded together at 3pm too.
The room is ok, not especially impressive, but they use good building materials. The toilet is nice, only that the first time I checked in the drain in the shower cubicle was nearly completely blocked!

6A 係之前工程期間既其中一個 "著名" 出入閘口，可以話所有的士每日都會去幾轉架！

搭親的士都會聽到的士台call... 威尼斯人6A要車...

其實係澳門... 的士供應同埋交通配套唔得真係令人覺得最討厭既地方...
好似今日返左澳門放下假... 原本想去雅廉訪買張餐臺 & 椅...
最後都係決定... 係香港宜家訂完運過去算喇...
去左雅廉訪都唔知要行幾耐先可以返番屋企...

下晝3點半去到... check in條龍打晒蛇餅... 睇見都登d人辛苦...
貼錢買難受, 慘過d阿婆孟蘭節排隊輪米...

No such thing happened on recent Sunday. We checked-in @2pm (not one person was waiting on the queue) and 4 out of 5 rooms were ready. The last room needed to wait till 6pm. The taxi queue was long though but we were able to get from other exit. Rooms are very nice indeed and services OK for a busy hotel. Casino was crowded but extremely huge! Shopping mall was a bit disappointed although they have the lovely canal and fake sky.

Overall, very good experience.

Sunday was quiet at check-in and they have express check-out.

I used taxi all the time. Did not use hotel shuttle and we took taxi from other exit/entrance points (not the main lobby).

I wasted half an hour for an one bed room on Oct 14 at 2:30, they said the room will be ready
one hour later if I insist an one bed room. So I had to take my baggage for a range round the
casino to kill the one hour, and wasted another half an hour to queue up for the room key.

I wasted half an hour for an one bed room on Oct 14 at 2:30, they said the room will be ready
one hour later if I insist an one bed room. So I had to take my baggage for a range round the
casino to kill the one hour, and wasted another half an hour to queue up for the room key.

You can keep luggage at the luggage storage area wor. I did not have same problem as you!
