unclejames兄，其實很多外國歌星我都不太熟識，只是很喜歡聽他們的歌曲，尤其是60至70年代的歌曲，因為旋律非常優美，小時候已經從收音機和電視機經常聽得到，聽後印象非常深刻，所以通常只知其歌而不識其人，對歌星及他所唱歌曲的認識都是從電台的DJ介紹而略知皮毛。

Frank Sinatra的名字都經常聽到，但對他唱過那些歌曲沒有很深認識。
BTW，從電台DJ陳任的介紹下，知道他曾與女兒(Nancy Sinatra)也合唱過Summer Wine，但我在Youtube找不到那MTV，他們合唱的Summer Wine也很好聽。

以下這首金曲我小時候就經常在電視台聽到，所以印象非常深刻，希望大家都一樣咁喜歡。

This song is the most poetic representation of Vincent Van Gogh. Sometimes, I just wonder who could have come up with something as true and deep as that! It must take another guy as "crazy" as Vincent Van Gogh to feel into such a great depth of a human's soul!

Thanks! It's the first time I heard this piece sung by a soprano. Irene Dunne was gifted with a voice out of this world!

One Day！
70年代在尖咀重慶大廈二樓商場有間重慶波樓是供年青人聚集玩卓球的場所不用說都知道這等環境人蛇混雜煙霧迷漫當時年少氣盛的我經常留璉有個名叫peterboy為首的敵對一幫全是葡國仔和菲律賓仔喜歡不時唱著這首歌起初跟這幫人還有點磨擦日子久了也成為朋友這裏的時日當然也是維持了不很長時間便散跟後的日子裏時常想著這首歌又不知是誰唱的上網找沒有歌手名字也找不到直到現在才能在這裡聽到。
闊別多年兩年前在朋友的小敘再次見到peterboy 眼前的已不是當年的街童是位執業的洋人律師！

Joe Hill, 真人真事:

Joe Hill personifies the tradition of political song. Born in Sweden, he migrated to the US and in 1910 joined the Industrial Workers of the World - the "Wobblies". Over the next five years he campaigned for many working class causes. He became a popular song-writer with a gift for capturing the meaning of these causes in song. In 1914, during bitter struggles over free speech in Utah, Joe Hill was framed on a murder charge.
