I know but rich people still need to invest ma....

Yes, but you have to know them first!

For general understanding, yes, insurance policy is getting more comission as it's a long term investment. However, for financial planning (FP), we are talking about stable long term investment and the structure more or less the same as insurance.

Commission schemes are different from companies, as well as type of funds.

Yes, but generally easier to sell investment products.

我知道有好多financial planning公司既產品做到好似保險咁(但又無保險成分)，有好高既佣金，所以買左幾年之後(例如5年)都未返到本 ....

乜野no way呀？我係講市場的確有公司有依種product，而且重搵D CFA去sell，可能你未見過姐....
