Gee... That's a very good story introduction for a love of possibilities.  Good atmosphere's, time & place.  My only 2 cents is with this phone call from his dad, may be a good part of the story is about history.   What about if there's a ring at the door and its the DHL/ Federal Express (usually younger than the normal postman) call?  Some more possibilities.  Just my thoughts.  Yours will be as good as it could be.  Cheers.

Hi!!  Forest Gump, you name ªü¥Ì, that's why... Anyway, kathy's just a wine lover but not an expert as you think, but the answer you ask me for...well...I try to give you detail, but not exactly you wanna know, hope you dun mind.
Napa's what we call Napa Valley in short form in often, 'll see a great plain called Yountville, then move right up North to St. Helena, and the last of Calistoga;  if you ask for the greatest wine in Napa, Kathy'll highly recommend Chateau Silver Oak, and a wine names Screaming Eagle (less than 500 cases a year.) and did try once before, so what say, I love Silver Oak, but not Screaming Eagle, cos SE's absolutely expensive.......Enjoy it.
