It sounds a bit 貶低和粗俗 to call someone "泰妹", especially during other nation's New Year Celebration. Songkran is the New Year Celebration for Thai people, which is the same as our Chinese New Year. It should be nice to show some respects. Afterall, most Thai people are very friendly to our Chinese.

Thanks for you suggestion,
I have no idea to say anything to lower the status of those lovely Thai girls.
I only think it is a common name for Thai Girls in HK,
Even those girls call themselves "泰妹",as I had a Thai Girl friend before.
She used the same terms to call her friends.
Sorry if I make anybody any hard feeling,
I can't change the wording anymore as the time limit passed. 作者: minolta 時間: 2008-5-14 23:45
