Normally start from 8pm till 1:00 am.

It is because after they seized you back to the police station, they have enough time to do all the paper work, or ask you to find a friend to bail you out, before the next shift in the morning at 8 am.

7-siu, I have some slightly different info. I was in the HG bus back to MKK sometimes ago. The guy sitting behind me was just released from "Police station' since he was caught gambling in a sauna (I forget the name). He was caught during your said timeframe (8pm-1am). However, he explained to his friend on the phone that GA said that the deadline to release or keep the guy was 6pm the day after since GA would allow time for him to call friend in the morning, negotiate the amount (if negotiable), get the money from the bank and come to the station to bail him out and get the doc. clearance done. The guy was lucky since his friend just managed to come at around 5pm.. Not sure if it varies depending on station/practice..

I think mostly they start the action in late afternoon or in th night shift as there will be more customers during that period. Hunters always enjoy bigger harvest.

After 9am, the case would have been reported in the "Big Book", no more negotiation. Also, at around 12:00 noon, the poor chicken worm would have been transferred to "City Police Station", from there no more bail.

因為要捉去東莞大朗, 所以多數午夜二時前做野
但現在的情況不同, 由於是全國性壓抑黃、賭、毒
所以有可能是任何時期
