Two reasons :

1. The plan to recue the market by USA will bound to pass
2. China is likely yo introduce recue measures by stages as well

HK stocks might have reached its bottom on 22.9.2008
when HSI gone to 16xxx

China concept stocks first choice
1398 and 3988 best

Got some 3988 at $2,79. Very good price
