奪寶奇兵第4集在生意上成功了，成本一億八千五百萬美金，全球票房七億八千四百萬美金。10月14日會推出dvd, blue ray dvd。

Harrison Ford 在10月3日說：George Lucas is currently dreaming up a fifth installment in the Indiana Jones，It's crazy but great. ... George is in think mode right now。
