I think this was taken in late 80s or early 90s, right before the erection of public and private housing in Siu Wai Wan. I remember there was a pool or swimming pool in the barrick.

perhaps this photo was taken even earlier than the 80s??

I moved to Chai Wan in 83 and always jogged in Collinson Cape Road (cemetry) to the Correction Centre and saw the barwick which appeared like this picture. I believe it was taken in mid or late 80s.

This picture should be taken in 60s or early 70s. It shows the squatter areas of section 1 and 2 which is demolished in early 70s.

I also suspect that this picture was taken earlier than 80s, since that area had been covered by squatter huts. (the squatter area is today's 東區醫院？）

in that photo, that grassland = today's where?

How about the squatter hut area? = today's Eastern Hospital?

How about the Caltex Oil facilities? = today's where?

the Caltex Oil facilities? = today's 6 Sun Yip St, A Building call Honour Ind., Bldg., the ground floor has a Caltex Gas Station.
