All-terrain vehicle (ATV) 全地形車, 原本是在美國開始作為銷閑玩樂的沙灘車, 初期是用電單車引擎加3個大型低壓輪胎,後來發展為4輪所以又叫Quad Bikes , 引擎容積由50cc至1000cc, 多年來在西方國家都成為一種體育運動項目. Quad Bikes 最先由英軍帶入軍事裝備的用途. 現在已是軍隊常見的裝備了.
