加拿大的Digital Camouflage 數碼迷彩稱為 CADPAT 1995已開始在軍隊中試穿. The new Canadian patterns; CADPAT™ (Canadian Disruptive Pattern) Temperate Woodland (TW) and Arid Regions (AR). CADPAT TW has been rated best tropical and Temperate Camouflage by NATO soldiers in a recent scientific study. The Canadian studies show there is a 40 percent less chance of being detected from 200 meters away with CADPAT Versus Olive Drab. 經測試後在200米距離外被發現的機率只有40%比傳統迷彩效果更佳, 被北約正式接受分兩種類別一是樹林Woodland迷彩及Arid 乾旱(沙漠)地區迷彩.
