I'm not only a fan of French wines, but also California reds. IMHO, though the reserve wines of Beringer are pretty good, its wines from Knights Valley are truely value for money. Dark ruby, fruity, sweet but balanced with nice acidity, medium-full bodied, surely a crowd-pleaser. Under $200, very few contenders within this price tag.
