本人以家係一間大學到做it,月入9k,但做得不開心,有lcci lv3同讀緊hkuspace hd,你話轉唔轉好

LCC&I Level III 應已足夠做 Senior A/C clerk or Asst Accountant, 人工$9K 應無大問題, 但是你有否商業會計經驗? 如沒有兩年或以上經驗恐怕未必容易找工作 .....

the prospect for accounting is good. with ACCA qualification plus 5 years experience may get you > $40k per month. invest your time and it may be worthwhile.

請問入 big4會唔會有機會?

因為係其他討論區見過d版友話過big 4會考慮非會計主修既畢業生...

如果無機會既話我需要做d乜野去增加自己既入 big 4既競爭力呢?

Post-Q 5yr, can get 40k?
u mean in commercial or Big-4/MNC ?

Starting at 26 is not old coz a 47 guy tells me that he is going to sit for HKICPA exam. without any exemption.

唔係ar.....上年peak season 就遲d放工...
不過人工少+悶+學唔到野+公司細......所以........=.=

Not old, you can also bring your IT experience into the accounting industry too. I think the bigger problem is the over supply of accountants in a few years.

what ur concern is u feel unhappy in ur current job, but not the industry
change to ac takes u at least 3 yrs
u will e 29 at least
that means more difficult if you go back/change to other field
workin in ac is not easy  especially big 4
they treat u as slave
remember all bosses in CPA  firm are all accountants
that means they care about their $$ (target, revenue, cost..... in big 4)  even more than their family
these are their mindset, otherwise they won;t become a partner....
again, pls think again what u really want.....life / $ / family......

As you are not U grad, and over 26, BIG 4 would not deploy you ! Just Forget Big 4.

However, you can try some small to medium size firm.

It is never too late to join Accounting field.
