I came across this website that is doing micro-financing for helping families and groups in developing countries to become entrepreneurs. You can become a "banker" and lend small amount of money to any people you want to help. The money will then be paid back to you over a period of time.
This is like charity except that "you are not just giving them the fish, but actually helping them to catch the fish".
Please let me what you think about this program:
1) Do you think it is a good idea?
2) Will you participating as lender if extra money is available to you?
3) Do you prefer this approach or the old way of simple donation?
4) Will you recommand this to others?
I am thinking about participating and hope to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
