I am positive for the proposal....but
provided that the ads would not tell lie..
i.e. all the information must be only descriptive,
e.g. personal information or list of service
no subjective information...such as good at what...and so on!

Sure, I totally agree that doctors now day can sale their services! Why not!! Everything is business now, even in the medical field. By promoting and having ads, the medical service you provide will be known to more people. This is also a way to be competitive with each doctors, which creates a good balance. Which means competitive medical fees for patients, it really will benfit for the patients.

I agree the doctors can have their advertisement. It gives much information to the public. Of course, the advertisement should be under supervision in order to prevent fake information.

醫生賣度廣告我覺得是可以接受的，但政府醫生在工作期間介紹病人到私家醫生或醫院從而收佣這樣就不司接受了。

This is the problems that discuss for a long long time already but without conclusion.

To be honest, the private pracitioner (GP) run a clinic actcually is not a easy matter. All the things need money and it is reasonable that he wish to get a reasonable reward int he business. The current policy not allowing the promotion activity has seirously affect the competivity of a clinic as nearly no one know you have establish a practice in the area.

This is a wrong concept that once the promotion is allowed, the market will be occupied by the large group practice. The reason is that doctor is providing service to the cliient and patient will choose the doctor he thinks suitable for him. The condition similar to hairdresser. U will find a stylist that he can make the style u like, whether he works in a small saloon in public estate or large saloon like espirit is not important. Am I right?

Also, the publlic will have ability to distinguish and digest the content of advertisement. This is naive that to ban idea of promotiion because afraid of misleading advertisement. The reason is simple: Misleading advertisment nearly happens everydays in every industry(Car selling, bank, cosmetics etc.)!!! Why don't ban all advertisement in all area??
