investment consultant = sales

If you are shy then it is not the type of job for you. There are many different jobs in banking. You should pick one you think you will enjoy.

Actually, Financial house and bank provide similiar fund products packages. The major different is how "wide" the funds cover in global and some "technical issues" like charges.

Financial planning is trend and there is a huge market upcoming, as people is paying more attention on retirement life quality and medicial cost as well. In order to secure a better life, saving and investment is the only way to do, agree?
