Fufeng is one of the leading vertically integrated manufacturers of corn-based biochemical products principally utilising fermentation technology in the PRC. Fufeng is the largest glutamic acid producer, and the second largest xanthan gum manufacturer in the PRC in terms of production volume. Products produced by Fufeng include glutamic acid, MSG, xanthan gum, fertiliser and starch sweeteners, which have wide applications in food and beverage industries.

睇返3308又好似都ok...

我諗佢既賣點唔係msg, 而應該係用粟米黎做再生燃料做賣點...

but they are only offering about $900m total, so IPO is about $450m max (over 100x). If you use margin, maybe you will incur interest cost that is hard to recover.

市場消息透露，阜豐集團(546)擬引入惠理基金作為策略性股東，而惠理基金將按招股價購入總發售股數約20%股份。消息人士指，阜豐集團的國際配售部份反應理想。

阜豐集團計劃發行4億新股，其中3.36億元屬國際配售，4000萬股公開發售，招股價介乎1.72-2.23元，本月20-30日公開招股，2月8日掛牌。

Please beware that their direct cost has risen from 70% to 75% during last year. Because corn price have risen a lot. If corn prices continue to rise like last year, their profit might be affected if they cannot pass on the cost to consumer.

Am I reading too much? Most people never read these prospectus, yes?

國內最大谷氨酸及味精生產商阜豐集團(0546)今天起公開招股,巿場反應較前早兩隻新股美維控股(3313))及武夷藥業(1889)為好,有本地證券人士認為,阜豐集團的值博率較前兩隻為高,而身為國內谷氨酸龍頭亦是其賣點之一。

時富證券研究部董事羅尚沛表示,與美維控股及武夷藥業相比,阜豐集團的賣點較為清淅,它是國內生產谷氨酸的龍頭企業,佔該產品於國內的兩成巿場。雖然味精生產不算是港人常注視的行業,但味精生產涉及日常飲食的各個層面,其表現相對較穩定,故羅尚沛預期,阜豐集團上巿後,股價未必會出現大插水的情況,但長線而言,該股亦未必有太大的升值潛力,故只適合用作短炒之用。

而巿場對阜豐集團的焦點落在玉米價格對生產成本的影響。按照阜豐集團的招股書披露,在03年至今,玉米粒佔整體生產成本保持在50%。但去年美國農產品因天災而失收,加上當地政府要求用玉米來提煉乙醇以取代原油,令玉米期貨價格攀升多年高位,更成為06年商品價格升幅之冠。這種情況一直令投資者對阜豐集團存有隱憂。但其實中國的玉米巿場與美國是兩個截而不同的巿場。

中國玉米在06年屬豐收年,縱使國內玉米價格仍有所攀升,但情況不會像美國一樣,因天災失收而導致價格突然攀升至無法預測的水平。況且,中國仍是玉米的淨出口國,目前佔世界玉米總供應的20%,排名僅次於美國。而玉米生產大部分集中在華北地區,故此,只要07年華北地區沒有出現大罕災等情況,國內的玉米價格便不會構成重大威脅。加上目前阜豐的玉米供應商超過100間,最大的5個玉米供應商只佔公司少於一成的採購量。阜豐集團應該有能力分散玉米的採購風險及提高議價能力。

該公司最令人擔心的反而是營運狀況。阜豐集團的毛利率、營業額及純利雖然在03年至今均錄得升幅,但其增長幅度的波動相當龐大。以營業額為例,該公司在04年的營業增長約39.2%,但該數字去到05年突然急升至107.3%,但直至06年首八個月,營業增長又回落至44%的水平。這種巨大的波幅亦出現在公司的純利及毛利率。高信投資顧問首席環球投資策略員沈慶洪指出,營業數據的波幅反映阜豐管理層在成本及產品定價上欠缺控制力,該公司亦沒有為玉米價格作對沖,故此如客觀環境出現大波動,該公司將承受較大的營運風險。

沈慶洪亦指出,阜豐集團的招股定價輕微高於同業。參考同類公司大成生化科技(0809)現價,該公司的預測巿盈率約為10.77倍,但阜豐集團如以上限定價,其07年巿盈率為11.15倍。值得一提的是,有巿場人士經常以味丹國際(2317)的估值來比較阜豐集團的定價,但兩間公司的業務實屬不同,味丹國際有七成的銷量是供應給越南及日本巿場。味精及谷氨酸分別佔營業額61.8%及11.3%。但阜豐集團現時約95%的銷量是供應給國內巿場。故此,把味丹國際和阜豐集團作出比較實屬不合理,而味丹國際目前巿盈率高達27倍。

不過,沈慶洪指,阜豐集團把集資額42%用作興建內蒙古廠房,其餘40%用作償還荷銀的貸款,有機會把負債比率減至20%的水平,從集資用途看來,阜豐集團的確有意做長線生意,加上其派息率約30%,在新股之中,屬派息較高的公司之一。故此,沈慶洪和羅尚沛均認為,以基本因素而言,阜豐集團上巿初段,股價出現大跌的可能性不高.
