50-feet steel bridge stolen

Police in Pennsylvania are investigating the case of a stolen bridge, presumably dismantled to be sold as scrap metal.
The North Beaver Township Bridge made of corrugated steel and valued at about $100,000, was stolen sometime between Sept. 27 and Wednesday, a local newspaper reported.
The 50-foot-long, 20-foot-wide bridge was near a railroad line in a wooded area not owned by the township. Its owner s name was not released. Police say the thief or thieves used a cutting torch to take the bridge apart.
自上月起，美國明尼蘇達州和愛荷華州3個縣的猪場報稱，有近千隻猪被偷，損失數十萬美元。當地警方稱，如此 “大規模的有組織偷猪罪行” 前所未見，暫無人被捕。偷猪重灾區是明尼蘇達州坎迪約希縣的一個猪場，上月多達590只猪被偷走。
但是警方已經放出狠話，偷竊猪仔價值1萬美元以上就判25年監禁。
Iowa, Minnesota hog theft investigations continue

Law enforcement officials in Iowa and Minnesota continue to investigate the theft of nearly one-thousand hogs from farms in Iowa and Minnesota in recent weeks.
Officials believe it may be the work of a well-organized animal theft operation.

Have they no shame? Thieves take bronze statue of WWII soldier from garrison town's war memorial
Police are hunting thieves who stole the bronze statue of a Second World War soldier from a memorial in a military town.
The one-off statue, commissioned for the garrison town of Tidworth, Wiltshire, was taken by two men to sell on as scrap metal.
