This week has been a record for me. I made over HK$1x0K, mostly from stocks and @$25K from currency contracts (AUD/JPY and GBP/JPY).

Time to relax on the weekend!

Over 90 trades this week (both BUY and SELL). Mostly H stocks and some very speculative ones (which are held for 3 days or less). I mostly found the info from http://www.etnet.com.hk.

To name a few : #15, #85, #230, #318, #395, #409, #418, #648, #698, #702, #706, #908, #1202, #2357.

Of course, the more heavy weights too such as #38, #297, #384, #1899, #2345, #3398.

I did have a lot of luck!

1800 is for longer term. I did not sell. Yes, mostly from "cents" stocks which I have listed.

Speaking of record, I too have one of the biggest gains in my life this week, ie, if you also count paper gain (un-realized).

I have made, in round figures HK$450,000 from one stock although mostly unrealized. This is literally my entire stock holding as I sold out of most other stocks and put the money into this stock and it pays off.

Then, there's some sweetener of $27K from IPOs - $12K from #546 & #15K from #1889, making it a most memorable week.

I can't wait for Monday to come.

For me, no. I don't have risky holdings. I only buy into value stocks and those with heavy discount to NAV. So I consider my portfolio quite defensive.

90 trades, must be lots of $$ for fees...hehe...yes man, i saw there are lots of cents share crazy move this week with high volumn, i think now the big player change to this kind of share....so scary day coming very soon, haha...anyway well done and have good rest man..

Most trades for cents stocks are under $20K and the broker I am using only charge $38 (so buy & sell for 1 stock is less than $100 inclusive). My average gain was @$2,300 per stock after deductibng fees.

Some holdings are very speculative. Most stocks can be found from http://www.etnet.com.hk (I am no expert, just follow the tips). Since market is crazy now, be sure you are not the last one holding the torch!!

one of your broker is chiefgroup ? is that the one cheapest fees and ok to trust?? becuase im using china bank...i want to open another cheap a/c...thanks for your advice...

BINGO! Quite safe for a local firm. They have many branches and a large client base. $38 is for on-line trade. For voice trade, minimum is $50 (still quite cheap). However, for online trade, you need to have money in advance before you can make BUY orders. For voice, can be T+2.

I am not amazed by your making profit of 5.76% to 5.03% in return (considering today closing @ $6.06 and 9-2-2007 closing @ $5.77 lowest @$ 5.73),

I look at both but most tips are from "Newspaper" summary section.

Really? My #546 is still below my purchase price. Hope it can move back up to over $3. I like #1205 and #42 (but this one gone up a lot today).

Literally, NO.  In fact, I have gone wild on my investment in the last few months, since I feel I am hot and could do no wrong.  So take advantage of it while I can.

Compared to my portfolio on Feb 28, 2007, it's $1.25 million bigger, $950K by realized gain/unrealized gain, and $300K with added capital.

I had taken profit on some, and bought them all back, plus more.  I have learned to be a very patient investor.

I have not bought back #310. It has reached its NAV (67c cum rights, 49c ex rights), so it's ridiculously priced. I am holding on to the balance 300K simply because I know something is being done. Otherwise, it's not worth that valuation. But I won't buy at this level.

I have accumulated #224 since end April - total 400K @ 59c, 62c, 71c, 73c, 90c & 97c. I am glad I bought before the market finally discovers its great result due to be announced in July. I am sitting on almost 1 million shares of this counter and this is going to be my biggest pay day.

My misunderstanding. You did not buy back #310, just #197. Yes, I can see your point regarding #224.

【盈利警告】阜豐(0546-HK)上半年淨利潤顯著下跌

財華社香港新聞中心。

於今年2月初掛牌的味精原料生產商阜豐集團，上市不足半年便發出盈利警告；集團指由於主要原材料玉米價格上升，導致毛利顯著下跌，故根據未經審核管理帳目，截至今年6月底止6個月淨利潤，將顯著低於去年同期。

該公司又表示，於截至今年6月底止6個月內，亦經歷了產品價格下跌。

I guess it has something to do with the recent performance of #67X. I was hoping it would stablize or fall this morning but it didn't happen.
