Its main competitor is the Bugatti Veyron, a car capable of 253 mph, however the claimed top speed of the TT is 273 It has been extensively tested in the wind tunnel and the makers claim it is very stable. The claims can only be verified by SSC as very few people have driven this car at the time of writing.
