位置最好係喺銅鑼灣、灣仔，旺角、尖沙咀都可以...
價錢唔駛太貴又唔駛太平

，但最緊要有情調、有氣氛...可以靜靜地傾吓計咁，Thanks！

In 銅鑼灣 :

Try ToTT's Asian Grill & Bar at The Excelsior. When you make reservation insist on a table next to the window. AND if you have all night, get seated at around 8:30, as live music and dancing starts at 10 Mon-Fri. Do look up their web page, and call them up and ask for a few prices on their menu, see if they fit your budget.

But live music wor ~~~ it's very noisy

May try the steak house at Regal Kowloon Hotel, price is not so expensive as other hotels and it's definitely quiet as not much customers.

香港公園入面o既餐廳L16
要bo 煙可以坐 outdoor
indoor都幾靚裝架
上次閒日去所以冇乜人, 靜靜地幾o岩傾計
野食就有西式泰式中式
唔算難食, 又唔係好好食, ok 咁啦~
埋單每人都係百鬆d左右

Try Riva at the Parklane. Book early and you may get a window table. Definitely better than Tott's. Live music but light & easy from 8:45 pm. The singer Sue Ann is pretty good.

I have dinner there 50 times vs. Tott's 1 time.

Cost around $1,000 for two.

YES, RIVA is good. I like especially their reasonably priced vintage wine list. Some of their older wines were cheaper than the retail prices downstairs at the Watson's Wine Cellar.

Exactly. I once had a Pichon Lalande 1983 @ $1,900. Watson was selling @ $2,XXX.

Also, their Pichon Lalande 1982 was once priced @ $4,200 while Watson's was selling at $5,900. I have mentioned to the chief there and he said his boss knew about it but didn't really mind. Someone did offer to buy the whole lot but his boss refused. You could consume there but no take away. May be due to my advice, they changed it to $7,000 later.

There are still plenty of cheap but of good quality wines on the wine list. For the cheap and so-so quality wines, their mark-up is high, so may as well go for the cheap and good quality wines there.

Forgot lar. But for whatever vintage in restaurant, at $1,400 is a great deal.

i have not tried both in Peninsula,
only tired Petrus once. too formal to me. Food is great of course.
( IFC) Harlan and Isola are good. Not so formal but food is ok.
Also, tried Grissini several times. very good pasta and main course. good view and good service.

No company budget, no fine dining....hehe

Yes, I agree! The Verandah at Repulse Bay is good too for more relaxed environment.
