Not until you actually feel the upper material, which is smooth, soft kid leather in this case
Unfortunately, that means the vamp area could be creased very easily, and once such surfaces are too creased, or when other parts (heel areas, outsoles) are too worn out, then the corresponding owners would trash them or put them up to used markets
This pair here obviously is in better condition, as the vamp areas only sustain very few creases; also the undersoles are only gently worn
