四層半賭場完成左兩層.....但係真係日夜趕工緊，５月應該係 soft opening 試業啦

至於點解趕唔到五一？連游龍巡地盤嬲到掟安全帽都搞唔掂就估到多少喇~~

How's your hotel doing? I have stayed there 1 night on the top floor but cannot compare to Wynn Macau.

we're doing great! easter & 5.1 golden week occupancies were 100% and over 85% throughout april! we're expecting to carry on this well performance even after may golden week!

our f&b is also well-received, evening buffet booking is always full and normally, guests have to book a week in advance to secure their seats. our bar is doing extremely well... it's packed every nite!

you'd see all those bosses from sands, wynn, grand lisboa, mandarin etc all gathered there!

i'm sure you'd agree that the more the quality expats, the hotter the place it is. i'm confident that it'll become the hottest place in macau down town as our neighbour hotel has just closed doors for their one.

i'm a bit confused, our top floors (the 6,000 sq ft sky suite) haven't been opened yet, i guess you meant you have stayed on our executive floors, right?

anyway, no matter which type of rooms or suites you stayed, i'm sure you can definitely "not able to compare our hotel with wynn", you're trying to compare apple with orange... we never tried to compete with a well-established brand like "wynn" in terms of luxury, but rather value for money.

well... we are happy that we often got comments like yours from people around... we take these as good signs... it's good to know that most people think we're the closest qualified hotel available to be compared with the most luxurious hotel in macau - wynn macau, but we're offering a much reasonable price.

as for our casino business, i'd only say the high responses from our casino promotions have proven our work.

once again, thank you very much for your kind concerns and compliments! we shall do our very best to further improve our facilities and services..

allure餅主,以前我去LV多數住威記,我好喜歡佢個shopping mall,藍天白雲,悠揚歌聲,令人好relax,但今年Jan.我試左較新既Ceasar Palace,好似係同一集團,都好正ah,充滿古典藝術氣色.我估威記希望可以做到LV咁成功舉辦各種會議展覧會等等,你睇香港近期D酒店爆到瀉,全應展覧會效應.

尋日又行過crown, 睇落8-9成既內部裝修都未完成, 何來8號(6日後)可以完工? (個大crown字後面圓筒型一帶, 廣東大馬路可以睇到入面成個大廳, 都仲係一條條鋼骨, 定係個casino喺另一邊已經完工?).

名人最緊張  事就係 "To see or to be seen" ，遇  大「分唇」冇份去，肯定失落失眠典床典蓆。近排港澳有錢佬同高官名人就最恨「見紅」，講緊  唔係想俾流彈打中見血，而係好想收到小賭王猷龍仔發出  「紅噹蕩」英雄帖。呢張帖限量發行有錢買唔到，有  佢就可以  今個星期六殺過濠江，參加猷龍仔自導自演  「皇冠夜宴」，有得食有得玩有  睇仲好有 face ，難怪  名人成日咬耳仔問：「你最近有冇見紅呀？」

猷龍仔出名崇洋鍾意國際化，今次搞飯局依然堅持走 international 路線，淨係張帖都大有來頭，聽講只係請千七人，張張帖都係用空運抵港  加拿大再造紙整  ，上面灑滿紅閃粉擺明華貴，然後由專人逐張寫上西洋雞腸，絕對唔係 mass production  行貨。

講到場面就梗係盛大，新界圍村萬人盆菜宴完全冇得 fight ，製作總監係由紐約飛 Robert Isabell ，佢曾經幫美國前總統克林頓搞過就職典禮，小甘迺婚宴亦由佢負責，可謂搞慣大場面。八方聽到話個場家  趕緊工，場中有個 30 米 x70 米  巨型帳幕，係畀嘉賓開餐同睇表演  地方，唔知會唔會好似北京奧運游泳中心  「水立方」咁別致呢？

70 位廚師炮製千人宴

菜式方面睇落好矜貴，淨係主菜都有三味，係由 40 個大廚啦埋 30 位二廚炮製  ，包括海膽配俄式煙三文魚、最高級  魚子醬配黑松露菌沙律，仲有粵式燒黑豚肉，配埋 Louis Roederer  Cristal 香檳認真識歎。餘興節目係睇索拉奇藝坊（ Cirque du Soleil ）幕後靈魂人物 France Dragone  雜技團表演， Dragone 不嬲  拉斯維加斯搵食，仲試過  Celine Dion  演唱會做表演，咁大來頭梗唔係拋波波吞劍仔咁兒戲，話唔定變走大三巴牌坊嚇你一驚。可惜歡樂時光過得特別快，又係時候講 bye-bye ，猷龍仔仲搵  負責 04 雅典奧運煙花效果  法國 Groupe F 公司，整場煙花  演送客  。

UNCLE_3兄，剛剛去過，知悉有關資料：金都雙人 VIP Room 最低消費二千九百幾、單人的 VIP Room 是一千二百，約可用三小時！若先存三萬元開户作以後扣數用，則可以每次都使用 VIP Room ，而沒有最低消費的限制！

等到年尾 MGM, 金沙同威尼斯人開幕可能仲好笑都未定!! 我同朋友仔都話遲多少少先去幫襯皇冠d餐廳同 bar 喇!!

我其實好期待MGM開, 大小姐一向做事都比其他果d叻好多... 希望佢個new baby都一樣喇... 同埋, 我對大小姐有好感d... 覺得佢做生意叻d既... 佢肯將原本同牛角果邊咁上下高既賭場, 改到好似成3層樓咁高既樓底...應該會好靚...

而且MGM比Crown有地利... 唔似Crown... 個位置真係好有問題!! 附近無客可以比佢撈到... 隔離果間手繪天神村d客... 要唔要都罷... 同佢而家既訂價都唔match.... 野野要靠自己搵客... 皮費好貴....

我好期待威尼斯人開幕,因係金沙睇個模型好有規模,同L.V.完全唔同.依個集團管理既酒店都好有品味,L.V. 凱沙皇宮既木馬 & 威尼斯人既運河都好正.仲請埋曼聯過lai贈興,very good.

原來我真係錯左...唔係要排隊拎食野...對唔住!!真係我攪錯左!!!

因為, 當時我識既人好勞氣咁話... "it's a mess, have to queue for an hour, no seats, no one serves you any food, but it's a blacktie event! so xxxxxx couldn't be bordered to wait for the food and left before the show..." 而另一個人就咁講 "well, not even EH was served, why others?"

所以, 我以為佢係講『無人serve要排隊等野食, 就算長官高官都一樣無面俾, 我識果d鬼佬高層個個著住踢死兔, 唔肯等野食, 所以好多人都唔睇個show就走人!』原來真係我誤解左...

Jewels missing at Crown
Nearly a week after the opening of the Crown Macau, it is still the talk of the town. Almost every conversation we are having with people in the leisure and hospitality industry is prefaced by, “Hey, were you at the Crown opening?”

None are saying this to be kind. It was indeed a night to remember, for everything that didn’t go right.

Perhaps the most biting criticism so far has been from investment bank JP Morgan, which titled its post-opening report, “Crown Missing a Few Jewels”.

A more common tongue-in-cheek refrain has been, “I had no idea until now what a six-star experience was like. It was quite something.”

Then there are the jokes doing the rounds: “How many electricians does it take to screw in a light bulb at the Crown? Obviously, one too few.”

They are all referring to what can most kindly be described as a series of unfortunate events last Saturday, May 12, as the Crown Macau had its opening ceremony on Taipa island.

To say that the event was the most-hyped of any in the “New Macau’s” short history would be an understatement. Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat was reportedly paid US$3 million to appear in a massive pre-opening media campaign, the cornerstone of which was a television commercial that also went out via websites. A press release sent out by the PR company handling the event billed it as the “Party of the Year.” Rumors swirled through local media that Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue and Tom Cruise were scheduled to appear. Slogans such as “Where great things happen,” and “The six-star experience” were emblazoned across newspapers and billboards in Hong Kong, Macau and China – or at least they were, until mainland censors stepped in.

The reality of what unfolded on the day was, to judge by most reactions, a big disappointment.

For a start, many members of the media were fuming within an hour of registration, when it became apparent they were not going to be allowed inside the new property. Instead, they were fenced into an enclosure in front of the building while members of the public were let in through the front doors in small groups.

But that was nothing compared to the frustration of the VIPs inside the big tent nearby, where the gala dinner was being held.

At the registration desk, sweat was rolling down the faces of people waiting in line. “We’ve been standing here forever because they can’t find our seats,” said one angry guest, dressed in a tuxedo. “They asked me, ‘Who invited you?’ and I didn’t know what to say other than, “You did!”

Apparently, even the most senior of Macau officials were asked that question.

Soon afterwards, attention shifted to a man submerging himself in a tube full of water. It was all a part of the DRAGONE act. A VIP standing nearby said, “We’ve come up with two theories about him: it’s either a gambler who lost his shirt or the marketing guy at Crown who’s now drowning in his sorrows.”

Inside the tent, hundreds of people were still helplessly trying to locate their seats at around 9:00 p.m., when an executive climbed on stage said: “Please sit down. If you cannot find your seat, just sit down anywhere, we would like to get the evening started.”

The first dish was sashimi, which was quickly devoured. Chow Yun-fat, Lawrence Ho and James Packer got up on stage to say a few more words about the six-star experience, to which the crowd applauded.

Then another hour passed by, waiting for food to arrive. People were fanning themselves with the gorgeous menus. Several dishes arrived all at once and were plopped in the middle of the table for each person to help themselves. There were no serving spoons, just a pair of chopsticks.

At last, it was the moment we were all waiting for – we had been promised a spectacular performance from DRAGONE – and the Crown delivered.

Sadly, by this time, nearly half the guests had already gone.

Lawrence Ho personally apologized to a number of guests at the end of the evening for what had happened.

Just about every senior hotel and casino executive in the room must have empathized with him. It is not an easy thing to open a new property in Macau, and is becoming harder all the time due to a tightening labor market.

Then again, no one else had promised to deliver a “six-star experience”.

睇完下面篇報導先知... 原來係話... 『淨係入場已經要排一個鐘, 又搵唔到個位係邊, 到食飯... 上完一道菜之後... 要等一個鐘先再有得食... 終於好多人唔等睇show就走左...』我之前一直都以為只係食物安排差咋... 對唔住!!!

Crown running on empty?
A week after its grand opening, the Crown Macau is struggling to attract visitors to its five-floor casino, according to spot checks conducted by Destination Macau.

Our latest visit was shortly before noon today, when we walked into the newest casino, on Taipa Island, and found staff to be far outnumbering visitors. On the fifth floor, where the high minimum-bet tables are located, we found not a single customer.

We went next door, to the Greek Mythology casino, which was packed, mostly with mainland tourists, and we then visited the Wynn Macau on Macau peninsula, which was nearly full on its mass gaming floor. [\color]
