青沙公路通車

Never seen a road with over 3 or even 4 lane (in single direction also with "double white" line between the lanes) with a speed limit set yo 70 and even 50!!!. The use of no.8 highway is to 1. let the user save time in a safety road environment; 2. To release the traffic pressure of the other two tunnels in Shatin. To set this kind of unreasonable speed limit, it makes the highway become meaningless and produces unnecessary traffic jams!!!So disappointed that TD and PF are still naive in designing the speed limit of highway. If u think that this kind of setting is reasonable, why not the highway with similar environment (eg. Lion Rock Tunnel express way, Prince Edward Rd East etc)  set speed limit  to 50 and 35 (As they much much more crowded than the no.8 highway) ??
