yep, it happened a few times to me that the keeper forced me to go to a room first. I told him that  if I couldn't see the girls before I go to the room, I was leaving. As for me,  usually I know exactly how much for the basic charge, so I put the exact basic money in my packet. Then extra 40--150 in the other packet(depends on where I go).
