there is a small but good ktv in the peninsula hotel, yes the peninsula.  it is located in the underground shopping centre.  very tiny entrance.  but the girls there were fantastic.  one biz associate brought me there last year, and the girls are mostly college students.  you know, it's not DG style, but lots of communication in different topics.  service is ok, but with that kind of quality who would complain.  but overnight @ $2000.  kinda pricey but then i called the girl out whenever i went to beijing for dinner and fun afterwards.  not freebie, but good companion when we are on biz trip alone.

i went to one club across the road to the century nikko hotel in the western side of the town.  go down to basement and girls are young and willing to go naked with table dance inside the room also.  but it was couple years ago already.
