HSBC

HSBC

Would HSBC go up in her report before next monday?

TOP

What factor to support you, HSBC can drop to 140?

TOP

It could be, so many uncertainly there.  It could affect the price of HSBC.
But still so many local fund houses set the target higher and higer on HSBC.  Don't you think they are stupid to do that on their report?

TOP

Maybe, will see.

TOP

I already got 2628 and related call warrant, 2328, 939 call warrant, and some HSBC call warrant as well.  It is a good run for today.

TOP

Yes, too brave to have put warrant on HSBC.
I think it is better to have call warrant or cash out your stock, not that smart to buy put warrant in this market, too risky.

TOP

I think so too.  HSBC could be pushed up after earning report on next monday.
I have bought a lot of call warrants of it, hopefully, HSBC will go up up up start next monday.

And all of us can take some profits on it.

TOP

Yes, I hope so too.
Dow down 250 points now, and doesn't seem, it will have any rebound tonight, and HS index will probably drop 3~400 points at the beginning.  It will be really critical for us and tomorrrow is friday too.

Wish better tomorrow like correction everytime before

TOP

HSBC can not go up alone for sure tomorrow.
The whole market will drop sharply tomorrow, the only thing we can do, either hold your stocks wait for next monday, or cut loss; or buy more shares after it dropped sharply tomorrow if you think the market bound back later.

TOP

Yes, hold and hold, and I have bought more call warrant this morning too

TOP

1777, turnover is not very much, but expiry in april 2008, it is long one, therefore, it drops not much today.  You may take a look at 7866

TOP

Yes, it could be risky for somebody, but think about it.
If you bought warrant, you are looking for short run(like gambling).  It could be easily jump up and down in 1 or 2 days.

I am holding 5 M shares on 7866, and looking to sell it by middle of next week hopefully

TOP

I am just thinking of till middle of next week, will see how it runs.
I bought it at 0.11 in average, I think it should be okay, moderate risky

TOP

Nonhuman just bought 1300 @ 0.56 which is not bad at all.
#5 and related call warrant up in the afternoon, now only need to do, is waiting for earning announment from #5, all we need from #5, is beat the estimate better than expectation.

Then we would be winners

Good, 7866 is one of the most powerful call warrant of HSBC, it will rise dramatically tomorrow.  Of course, it depends on how #5 runs tonight at ADR and tomorrow morning in HK market.

Cheers up

TOP

Yes, surely.  Check that out tomorrow.
I am pretty confident on it since I told and bought it last week.

It is the time for rewards now

TOP

At ADR, HSBC up over 2%

TOP

I sold all my call warrant of HSBC this morning, only made 27%, still not bad.  But far less than I expected last night.

It seemed all call warrant on HSBC and 2628 are being forced not to up today, pretty strange.

You are not bad, made money and run, smart way

No one force
but market still doubt whether HSBC's rise in price could be keep on
if price of HSBS becomes stagnant again
warrant would be eroded by time
Curious to ask, 2628 seems strong, but related call warrants did not really go up , some are even dropped.

That's exactly the danger with warrants!
Yes, it is.  Highly risky and higly return.
As same as gambling at casino, no different

Yes but I believe impact on HK will be minimal.
I agreed with you.  Minor and short term effect from Dow, not much.  HK market still supported by central govt

Speaking for myself, I personally think the risk on betting on warrants is smaller than on betting in casino.

Indeed, I lost 6000 in casino on monday.

Actually, pretty much the same, it is only on timing.
You can make double or nothing in a minute in casino
You can make or lose same amount of money on warrants too. Sometimes, you can make or lose 50% from warrant in a second, same as in casino.  eg: you spent 12K on warrant, and lost 50% in the opening.  You paper value already lost 6K.   Of course, you can wait for it rebound.

I actually love both games; high risk with high return(loss) too

At this moment, hold what you have on hand, no buy or sell

SELL.
Do you think so, I bought some 2628 at 31.75 today.  If market going down more, then I will buy more on some potential stocks for long run
