7-siu, I have some slightly different info. I was in the HG bus back to MKK sometimes ago. The guy sitting behind me was just released from "Police station' since he was caught gambling in a sauna (I forget the name). He was caught during your said timeframe (8pm-1am). However, he explained to his friend on the phone that GA said that the deadline to release or keep the guy was 6pm the day after since GA would allow time for him to call friend in the morning, negotiate the amount (if negotiable), get the money from the bank and come to the station to bail him out and get the doc. clearance done. The guy was lucky since his friend just managed to come at around 5pm.. Not sure if it varies depending on station/practice..
