Sometimes, the name does not tell the difference.

For example, In China, a place called XX 会所 could be a spa or a SN.   

In macau, the definition is less clear since a spa (like Rio spa) is in fact a SN.   

The safe bet is that don't bring your gf/lb/wife to the so-called spa without checking beforehand.  !!
