Still a warning. my close friend (old bird) and his friends (4 of them) were robbed at CP at the warehouse, same process as yours as approached by agent on the street (near Virgin hotel). They were brought upstairs, thought it was the warehouse but turned out to be a robbery camp. Once they entered the room, 7 men came out, all with knives, asked them to surrender cash and debit cards.  Luckily, they only withdrew the $$ up to the max. daily limit (10,000RMB?) and did not keep them overnight to withdraw all $$.   They were not hurt neither and released after the $$ withdrawal..

Lucky us...rather dangerous to follow strangers...to the warehouse...

they are everywhere... but the incidence happened in the popular area in CP...
