In HK, it is quite warm and hot, too thick oil may NOT be a good choice

Actually electronic problem is very common now. My friend has experience that the ABS light always "ON", after checking and checkng there is NO problem, the final suggetion is "Change the computer"

Luckily, my friend knows it very well, and ask the repair shop to check again step by step, finally it is only one contact of the plug is NOT good

Finally, BMW now agreed to follow up my car's problem. But as you said, I really feel there is serious problem inside

If according to your friend's figure, BM said it is "normal" which is correct, becasue my car is approx. 15000km in one year and lost 1.5 litres oil (which is only 0.5 litre for 5,000km).

The services guy said that the official reply is normal , but personally he think it is abnormal I am going to drive another maybe 5,000km and then retrun to Services to measure again to get more data for their report to BMW.
