My son is now only 4.5 years old but he's a big fan of "Crayon Shin-cyan" too.  Haha, you've got a very young kid share the same interest w/ you.

Anyway, before I watched "Crayon Shin-cyan" I disliked the drawing that much, coz I was think the drawing was so low-skilled.  However after watching a few episodes w/ my son, it was damn funny!  Now I love the stories too!  My son has totally "merged" himself w/ Shin-cyan coz he is about the same age as "Shin-cyan" and he shares the same experiences too.

Different generations got different favorites, to be a parent one has to from time to time get involved in the next generations world in order not to have too wide generation gap!
