I've just started reading about buddhism. According to my very shallow understanding, Buddhism is actually the education of the Budda, and the understanding of the universe and of our existance. Unfortunately, Buddhism nowadays is being interpreted as a religion. Buddhism, the way I understand it, seems to be over and beyond other religion. For one, there is no one almighty god, which some religion preaches. Not only all living creatures are equal, in fact, all living creatures have buddhism from within. Furthermore, and perhaps most importantly is that, Buddhism does not repel other religion. Any and all true believers practicing other religion will have Budda's world open to him.
