INTRO

The Kowloon Hotel - refurbished in April, 2008 with splendid buffet counter of over 66 meters, interactive cooking stations and sumptuous food choices, The Window Café serves Asian and Western favorites plus breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper buffets to cater all diners from dusk till dawn.
I went for lunch buffet at the Window Cafe after renovation and taken over by HP Group. It is definitely setting high standards for others to follow.
Choices were enormous and a lot of expensive items available, including Parma Ham (nicely laid out in a neat small ornament on top of orange colour melon), tender duck breast (nicely laid out on top of creamy salad), all the usual sushi (extremely fresh), raw shrimp, fresh oysters & yabbies, top notch roast beef (same quality as Lawry's - I swear cos I had @ 3 juicy pieces), BBQ lamb chop, very delicious hot and cold foods, curry sectiom, noodle section, coogee section, shave ice section, lots of fruits, very tempting & not so sweet desserts, bird nest milk custard, ginger and starwberry souffle (superb taste), and 8 different choices of Haagen Daz ice cream.
It was unbelievable value for $198! Better still, refill rate was 100% super fast. Almost no need to queue up at all. Very quick attentive service as well.
Dinner will have crab etc. and more hot foods etc. but lunch was far too much already.
Will definitely go again.
