Cheapskate stuff is highly possible as those footwear were probably just props

Unfortunately the truth is, cheapskate footwear (heels etc.) are everywhere in the US
Just go to any bargain shoe store there (eg. DSW) and you'll see why...

Generic brands and styles, even some brand name ones are made in Chinkland
Smells of shoe glue (average quality ones I believe) seeps from just anywhere
